FAQs
Before you book…
-
Can I wear makeup to my lash appointment?
It's preferred that you arrive without makeup, as lash services need to be performed on clean lashes to ensure the best possible results. However, if you are wearing makeup, it can absolutely be removed prior to your appointment.
-
Do you offer make up trials?
Absolutely!
All bridal bookings are encouraged to have a trial, which is organised once your enquiry is confirmed. If you'd like a trial for a special event, that can also be arranged, simply contact me directly to create your appointment.
-
Do I need to bring my own makeup?
There's absolutely no need to bring any products. Everything you need, from eye products to base and lashes, is provided. False eyelashes are also included in the cost of the service.
-
How often should I get a facial?
This is a very personal question, as the frequency can vary depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and goals. For those wanting to address specific skin concerns and achieve visible results, I recommend a facial every 2–4 weeks as part of a series of at least 5 treatments. This consistency allows the skin to progress and achieve the best possible outcome.
-
I have sensitive or break-out prone skin. Can I still book?
Absolutely. Whether it's a skin consultation or a facial, your skin's needs are taken very seriously. I ensure the correct, gentle products are used and can also recommend the best options for your at-home routine to support sensitive or breakout-prone skin.
After facials, breakouts can sometimes occur as the sebaceous glands are activated, leading to temporary excess oil, but this is a common side effect that will subside. Following the recommended aftercare and skincare advice will help minimise and prevent further breakouts.
-
Do you recommend home care products?
Absolutely. I stock and recommend Medik8, a globally recognised, results-driven skincare brand that focuses on high-quality ingredients and gentle yet effective formulations. Medik8 is designed to target a wide range of skin concerns, from sensitivity and breakouts to ageing and pigmentation, and is also the professional brand I use in my treatment back bar.
As part of your skin consultation, the consultation fee is automatically credited towards $90 worth of Medik8 skincare for you to take home. This ensures you not only receive a personalised treatment plan but also the right products to continue your results at home, making luxury skincare more accessible and worthwhile.
